The Perfect Eyebrow Guide By Miss S..

First it's very important to know that even if you have a particular eyebrow shape in mind that you want, it may not suit your face shape.

Oval face shape – means your forehead is wider than the chin area. Cheek bones are quite large.
Round face shape – all areas are proportionate in width and length. The widest part is around the cheeks.
Square face shape – the forehead, cheek bones, and jaw line are all equal creating a shape of square.
Long face shape – if your face’s length is more than its width then your face is long, but it can be also oval or angular.
Diamond or heart face shape – the distinctive features of this face shape are wide cheek bones and narrow jaw line.

Eyebrow shaping do's and don'ts:

*if you tweeze too much from the inner edge of the eyebrows it makes your eyes look smaller
*eyebrows should follow the line of the bone just above your eyes
*high arches are the best way to open up the eyes
*when tweezing grab each hair at the root and quickly yank in the direction of hair growth
*plucking too much from the bottom edge gives you a permanent look of surprise
*pull hairs out in the direction of growth one at a time
*never pluck daily

The Oval Face Shape:

If you are blessed with an oval face shape then consider yourself lucky, because that means almost any eyebrow shape will suit you. But I think a soft angled bow eyebrow is what suits this face best.

The Round Face Shape:

If you have a round face shape you should go for high arched eyebrows to make your face look a bit longer and less round (this also makes your face looks slimmer), stay away from rounded eyebrows!

The Square Face Shape:

The square face shape is defined by a strong jawline so you will want to go for a brow shape that balances out your jawline to give your face a softer look. An angled eyebrow with sharp peak balances the face. You should also keep them thin to complete the soft look.

The Long Face Shape:

To make the face look shorter you should go with a flat eyebrow style. This will make your face look a bit wider and more symmetrical. Keep the arch as low as possible.

Diamond/Heart Face Shape:

Just like with the square face shape you need to focus on softening your face shape. A curved eyebrow will make your wide cheekbonessofter and make your face look longer and more balanced.

Hope this guide solves all of your eyebrow problems ladies, keep looking faaaab =)

A Quick Fix

So recently I had Henna done at a new place and I absolutley haaated it!! Everything was wrong, the design, the colour, the quality, it was just...yuck. But from every bad experience comes something good :) I figured out a new technique to remove henna quick!

Mix a little bleach (powder) with the same amount of water and mix in a little conditioner and apply on the area, the conditioner is to absord be chemicals from the bleach so it wont damage your skin. Wash off after 15-20 minutes and about 60 percent will be gone. The rest you can wax off or try to scrub off.

No more ugly Henna :)

Can-not-live-without right now!

After trying Garniers brightening eye roll that is supposed to remove dark circles around the eye area and not being too impressed I didn't really care to try the new one they came out with. But after my cousin absolutley insisted I try it, I did and I looooooved it! It became one of those products that make you think: How did I live withouth this before? Cheap, easy to use and a great concealer that helps to reduce puffiness around the eyes! (euww that sounded a bit commercially didn't it?)

Let There Be More Beauty Tips For The People!!

Hello darlings =)

I know i've kind of ignored the fact that I have a blog lately (shame on me i know) but since a colleague of mine was asking me about some beauty tips I thought I would share it with you guys too :) So here are some great tips to prevent hair loss and also what you can do to stop your hair from falling!

To prevent hairloss a mixture of amla and lime juice is great. You simply take it with you in the shower and use it as shampoo and then wash as usual, they say this is also great for hair growth. You can also replace the amla juice for coconut oil (a bit messier in my opinion but coconut is easier to find in the supermarket)

So what to do if your hair is already starting to fall out? Simply make a paste of hot olive oil, honey and cinnamon powder (1-2 teaspoons is enough) and rub into scalp and hair for about 20 minutes before you take a shower and wash off as usual. This is not only good for hairloss its a great way of giving your hair that extra shine!
