Oh No You Didn't!!

Hi babys!! I know ive been ignoring the blog lately.. shame on me!! But today I just had to write about some lipstick no-no's!

I know that its very trendy to wear lipstick with bright colors but girls, please listen to what I have to say now!! No matter how trendy something is, don't follow the trend if it doesn't look good on you! I've seen tooooo many girls with lipsticks that makes them look like clown and not trendy at all. According to Bobby Brown women should go with a lipcolor that is 2 shades darker than your natural lipcolor, but forget him this is MY blog, follow me babys :)

Fair skin: Ladies with fair skin looks great in nude, apricot, orange, pink, light coral- shades. FORGET brown and plum!

Medium skin: You ladies should go for deep colors like burgundy, wine and berry colors and if your skin is olive toned you will look great in light brown. light colors is not flattering. But if you have a tan you can o for a bright strong color to make a statement.

Dark skin: If you wanna go for a casual look choose a caramel light brown shade and dark red, plum for the evening.

Protect yourself before you wreck yourself!

Hi babys!!

So lately i've been obsessing about my hair like crazy ever since I went to cut the damaged parts and I specifically told her MAXIMUM 5 cm and went home with half my hair gone. I really like having my hair long and its very important to me that it looks healthy! So yesterday I noticed that I had split ends.. what to do what to do.. I didn't wanna go the saloon because of my fear of going home bald.. and I didn't wanna just leave it.. So! I decided to cut the ends myself. I mean, how hard can it be?! So I did and to my satisfaction it turned out great! A cut off about 3 cm on the length and bit more in the front. So I thought I would share one of my tips to keep my hair almost damage free!

                              Iron-It Heat Defense Spray from Toni&Guy

I simply just spray in on before I blow dry and flat iron my hair and its been keeping me away from the scissors for months :)

Peek-A-Boob!

I came across this picture of Kelly Rowland during a concert.. My God I feel sorry for her! Because haven't we all been in embarrassing moments and wish the earth would just swallow us?

To avoid this kind of embarresment if to wear a bra in YOUR size not the size that was available on sale, or the one you thought was sexy!! Here is Miss S's guide to finding the perfect bra :)

1. Stand straight and relax. Don't inhale and expand your rib cage as if you're about to blow out candles.

2. Using a soft tape measure, measure all the way around your body, placing the tape measure right beneath your breasts (example: 30 1/2). Add five to that number, rounding up if necessary to the next even number (36). Congratulations: That's your band size.

3. Next step: The cup. While wearing a bra, measure completely around the fullest part of your bust (across the nipple) without pulling tight. Make sure the tape measure goes around your entire back (38).

4. Subtract the number from your band size (38-36=2). The result will indicate your appropriate cup size, based on the following guide:

0=AA
1=A
2=B
3=C
4=D
5=DD
6=DDD

I've used this and told my mom and sisters to use it and it really is good! So ladies, keep your boobies on a leash please!! lol

Pore Little Rich Girl

Hi babes!

And before you say anything yes I know that the header says pore instead of poor, but that is only because todays beauty tip is about pores! Have you ever used those strips to clean out pores? I have and honestly I didn't like them very much.. So until I found the one i'm using now I used to make my pore strips by myself :D

Simply mix 1 tablespoon gelatin and 1 tablespoon milk. Microwave the mixture for 10 seconds and then stir and apply on your face and focus on the nose! Then let it dry on your face, and then quickly pull off the paste! And it is most important to use a good toner after.

Mission complete.

Sleeping Beauty

So now that its Ramadan and I go out without wearing any make- up I have become extremely obsessed with keeping my skin naturally beautiful. So excuse me if you see a lot of home remedies for your skin :) One thing I absolutely looove is over-night home remedies, I don't know why I just feel I'm saving lots of time and it makes me feel smart lol ! Here is two of my favorites.

mix cucumber juice, rose water and lime juice and apply on your face. Leave it for the night and simply wash off in the morning.

As the cucumber is great for puffiness and dark circles under your eyes, and the magical rose water that helps ALL skin types (Normal skin is cleansed, Oily skin is balanced and toned, Sensitive skin is soothed, Mature skin is rejuvenatedHelps heal sunburns and wounds) and the lime juice that prevents breakouts, this is heaven for your skin!!!

also try..

mash a banana and mix with honey, lemon juice and margarine and apply it on your face before you go to bed and wash it off in the morning. Put a soft towel on your pillow so it doesn't get dirty!

With the margarine that leaves your skin baby soft, the banana is proven to tighten skin and make it look youthful, and the amazing honey that makes your skin glow like never before and the lemon juice that makes your skin brighter, helps fight dark spots and acne.. all I can say is, spoil yourself with this is over night treatment and wake up beautiful :)

Milkyway

Todays little beauty tip:

This is an old Indian trick, simply pour some milk in a spray bottle and spray the milk on damp hair. Leave for 20 minutes before you shower and ta-daa your hair will become straight and less frizzy :)
