The Perfect Eyebrow Guide By Miss S..

First it's very important to know that even if you have a particular eyebrow shape in mind that you want, it may not suit your face shape.

Oval face shape – means your forehead is wider than the chin area. Cheek bones are quite large.
Round face shape – all areas are proportionate in width and length. The widest part is around the cheeks.
Square face shape – the forehead, cheek bones, and jaw line are all equal creating a shape of square.
Long face shape – if your face’s length is more than its width then your face is long, but it can be also oval or angular.
Diamond or heart face shape – the distinctive features of this face shape are wide cheek bones and narrow jaw line.

face shapes

Eyebrow shaping do's and don'ts:

*if you tweeze too much from the inner edge of the eyebrows it makes your eyes look smaller
*eyebrows should follow the line of the bone just above your eyes
*high arches are the best way to open up the eyes
*when tweezing grab each hair at the root and quickly yank in the direction of hair growth
*plucking too much from the bottom edge gives you a permanent look of surprise
*pull hairs out in the direction of growth one at a time
*never pluck daily

The Oval Face Shape:

If you are blessed with an oval face shape then consider yourself lucky, because that means almost any eyebrow shape will suit you. But I think a soft angled bow eyebrow is what suits this face best.

The Round Face Shape:

If you have a round face shape you should go for high arched eyebrows to make your face look a bit longer and less round (this also makes your face looks slimmer), stay away from rounded eyebrows!

The Square Face Shape:

The square face shape is defined by a strong jawline so you will want to go for a brow shape that balances out your jawline to give your face a softer look. An angled eyebrow with sharp peak balances the face. You should also keep them thin to complete the soft look.

The Long Face Shape:

To make the face look shorter you should go with a flat eyebrow style. This will make your face look a bit wider and more symmetrical. Keep the arch as low as possible.

Diamond/Heart Face Shape:

Just like with the square face shape you need to focus on softening your face shape. A curved eyebrow will make your wide cheekbonessofter and make your face look longer and more balanced.

Hope this guide solves all of your eyebrow problems ladies, keep looking faaaab =)

A Quick Fix

So recently I had Henna done at a new place and I absolutley haaated it!! Everything was wrong, the design, the colour, the quality, it was just...yuck. But from every bad experience comes something good :) I figured out a new technique to remove henna quick!

Mix a little bleach (powder) with the same amount of water and mix in a little conditioner and apply on the area, the conditioner is to absord be chemicals from the bleach so it wont damage your skin. Wash off after 15-20 minutes and about 60 percent will be gone. The rest you can wax off or try to scrub off.

No more ugly Henna :)

Can-not-live-without right now!

After trying Garniers brightening eye roll that is supposed to remove dark circles around the eye area and not being too impressed I didn't really care to try the new one they came out with. But after my cousin absolutley insisted I try it, I did and I looooooved it! It became one of those products that make you think: How did I live withouth this before? Cheap, easy to use and a great concealer that helps to reduce puffiness around the eyes! (euww that sounded a bit commercially didn't it?)

Let There Be More Beauty Tips For The People!!

Hello darlings =)

I know i've kind of ignored the fact that I have a blog lately (shame on me i know) but since a colleague of mine was asking me about some beauty tips I thought I would share it with you guys too :) So here are some great tips to prevent hair loss and also what you can do to stop your hair from falling!

To prevent hairloss a mixture of amla and lime juice is great. You simply take it with you in the shower and use it as shampoo and then wash as usual, they say this is also great for hair growth. You can also replace the amla juice for coconut oil (a bit messier in my opinion but coconut is easier to find in the supermarket)

So what to do if your hair is already starting to fall out? Simply make a paste of hot olive oil, honey and cinnamon powder (1-2 teaspoons is enough) and rub into scalp and hair for about 20 minutes before you take a shower and wash off as usual. This is not only good for hairloss its a great way of giving your hair that extra shine!

Adore Dior

OMG! I can't believe I haven't seen this before!! I was walking by a Sephora stand at Dubai mall today and noticed one of the makeup artist eyes!! It was amazing so I just had to ask her which eyeliner she was using, and her answer amazed me!!

She told me about a new product from Dior called Velvet Eyes, basically instead of the liquid eyeliner its an eyeliner sticker you simply just glue on like false lashes !Can't wait to try these on!!

Sugar Sweet Skin

Hi babes!! Hope you're enjoying your weekend :)

I just thought of a trick I often do at home which is suuper easy that I just have to share with you! It's a great natural scrub that takes like 2 minutes to do! Simply mix sugar and oliveoil in a bowl and start scrubbing away!! You can use it on body and face and it will remove all dead skin and leave you baby soft :) Just remember to NOT put makeup for atleast one hour after using the scrub so I suggest you do it at night before you sleep!

Tasty Skin

Hi babes!

I try to write some tips for my readers all over the world and not just for you girls in the middle east that needs help with fighting out hot sun!! Today I'm gonna share a great tip I used to use a lot when I was living in Sweden (cold country brrrr). It's great for dry skin that just refuse to get moisturized by daycremes that's often caused by cold and windy weather.

You need: 1 banana
                  5 tablespoons oatmeal
                  1 tablespoon honey

You simply mush up ( is taht even a word?) the banana and mix with the oatmeal and honey (make sure the oatmeal is not in too fine pieces, if it in work it in with the banana using a fork) and leave on for your face for about 20 minutes and after you wash your face I used to put cocoa butter on my face and leave it on until the morning but any good moisturizer will do just fine!

This is the cocoa butter I used to use, it is amaaaazing!! Cocoa butter is also good to use to get rid of stretch marks and it is by far the nr 1 moisturizer for dry skin!!

Sensitive Sue

Hi babes!!

I know that the home remedy tips i've given you works wonders on my skin but today it's all about sensitive skin!! :)

Home treatments :
There is two main products you need to buy and keep in your house at ALL times. It's Almond oil and Lavender oil. They are great for sensitive skin and is they are very mild. You can mix these two oils with yogurt or banana and keep on your face as a mask, and afterwards use watermelon juice instead of a toner to brighten dull skin. If you have sensitive skin you should stay away from toners (I know how everyone says it's very important but really it's not).

Make-up:
Mineral, mineral and nothing but mineral. From this day you are strictly forbidden to use any foundation or powder which is not mineral! This will block your pores and give you cracked skin or cause break-outs. And we don't want that, do we? No. So! Say hello to your new darling, I.D mineral loose powder. This is my everyday powder (I use a mineral foundation from Face Stockholm for evening make-up which is also truly amazing but I feel its too heavy for everyday use). It helps your skin breath and does't block pores or dry out your skin. I have heard Sephoras mineral powder is great too but I haven't tried it.

As for blusher, it has to be mineral too. I love lóreals mineral blushers :)

Look Stylish With Hijab!

Hi babes!!

So the other day I was talking to my briend from Bahrain and she was telling me about how she finds it hard to look stylish eversince she decided to wear hijab. So to all you stylish hijabis out there this is some inspiration for you :)

LOVE this look, it's so stylish and glamorous :)

 Very trendy casual wear

Super cute outfit, and the jacket gives it a more dressy look so if you wanna go casual simply change the jacket to something more simple.

 Fabulous for evening events!

Love the belt it gives the body a really nice shape, but still saving some for the imagination ;)

I like the dress to the left :)
